Making a difference in a positive way on someone's life. Never underestimate the importance of a teacher on a child's life - not every job allows you to be someone's champion.

2. Best city you've ever visited/lived in?
Birmingham. - I studied at the University and trained to teach there. Love the city and it is such a joy to go back - especially remembering happiest of times there.

3. A song you listen to when happy/sad?
Pulp - Common People. Any mood, any time, absolutely favourite song.

4. Biggest education inspiration?
Mary Myatt - common sense, intelligence and love two of her phrases - "human first, professional second" and "high challenge, low threat"

8. Your teaching philosophy?
Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel. (Actually, that is Socrates, so I can't take the credit - but I agree with him)

9. Best bit of advice you ever got?
Don't take yourself too seriously

10. Dream guest on your TTR show?
