The chance to inspire, challenge and empower learners to be the best versions of themselves, while seeing their confidence grow.
2. Best city you've ever visited/lived in?
Dubai – it's vibrant, diverse and full of opportunity.
3. A song you listen to when happy/sad?
When happy: Klingande – Jebel (our wedding first dance). When sad: Diana Ross – When You Tell Me That You Love Me.
4. Biggest education inspiration?
John Dewey, for his philosophy on experiential learning and the importance of education in shaping democratic societies.
5. Describe your TTR shows in one sentence
Engaging, insightful conversations exploring the power of professional development to boost teacher brilliance and impact student learning.
6. Favourite TTR guest (on one of your shows)?
It’s impossible to pick just one! Every guest has brought something unique to the table, from fresh insights to personal experiences, making each show a standout in its own way.
7. Favourite TTR episode (of yours) so far and why?
'Just a Classroom Teacher' – my debut episode where I explored the everyday challenges and triumphs of being in the classroom and it set the foundation for meaningful discussions on teaching, touching a personal chord for me and for educators worldwide.
8. Your teaching philosophy?
Every child can succeed when given the right support, challenge, and environment and teaching should always be flexible to meet the needs of each learner.
9. Best bit of advice you ever got?
"Be adaptable. No two students are the same and no two teachers are the same, so your classroom teaching shouldn’t be either."
10. Dream guest on your TTR show?
David Attenborough – his incredible ability to educate and inspire people about the natural world would make for an unforgettable conversation!
